Clarence Olen Fryar, Sr., 92, died Friday, March 18, 2005, in Fisher County Hospital. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2005, at Belvieu Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.

Born January 21, 1913, in Rock Run, AL, Olen was a son of the late Clarence Roger and Teauly Olie (Pope) Fryar. Olen mar- ried Georgia Evelyn McMullan on October 22, 1932 in Carlsbad, NM. He served in the Navy before WW II. Olen was a cotton farmer in Big Spring for 20 years until he retired. They moved to Brownwood and lived there for 23 years. They finally moved to Rotan and lived there until their deaths. He is preceded in death by his wife (Georgia Fryar), a sister (Ruth Sanders), and a brother (Harvey Fryar).

Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Maria Fryar of Georgetown and Olen, Jr., and Cindy Fryar of Ro- tan; a daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Jerry Julian of Austin; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
